Peter Davies is a former member of the British Diplomatic Service. Posting included Canada, Malaysia, Holland, Brazil, Hungary and Cyprus. Previously Consul-General in Toronto and Head of Arms Control Department in the Foreign Office in London.  In 1986 he published a Study of the Soviet Economy.  His interests include ski-ing, golf, travel and biography.
