Biography/Resume:
Born in 1961, Andrew Lownie was educated at Fettes, Westminster, Magdalene College Cambridge [M.A], University of Edinburgh [Msc] and College of Law. From 1986-88 he was Director of John Farquharson Literary Agents. In 1988 he founded Andrew Lownie Literary Agency, representing among others Norma Major, Gloria Hunniford, Alan Whicker and Patrick MacNee. A former journalist for the Times and the Spectator, Andrew Lownie is the author and editor of 12 books.
