Biography/Resume:
Born in Oxford, England Paula Smith studied History and Anthropology at London University. Paula has lectured on many cruise ships over the last 25 years. She has written several books and contributed to newspapers and magazines. Her latest book, A History of the Mediterranean Peoples is currently in preparation. As well as living in the Mediterranean Paula has spent considerable time in the Pacific and South Asia and was, at one time, consultant to the Fiji Tourist Bureau. She and her husband have recently bought a house in New Zealand so she can make a study of the Maori people.
